Century Paper & Board Mills Limited (CPBM), established in 1984, is the flagship company of the Lakson Group of Companies – Pakistan. The company started commercial production in 1990 and established itself as a major producer of quality packaging boards in the country.
It has attained the position of market leader in packaging boards and is considered the most preferred supplier to the printing and packaging industry. The company serves prestigious clients and maintains strategic business relationships with both national and multinational companies. CPBM also successfully exports its packaging boards internationally.
In 2003, CPBM entered the corrugated cartons manufacturing business by installing “Agnati” Italian corrugators, a renowned name in the industry. The plant is capable of handling large continuous orders for different types of boxes, catering to sectors like soaps & detergents, home appliances, dairy products, ice cream, food & beverages, cigarettes & tobacco, and lubricants.
As a vertically integrated corrugation unit with its own liner and fluting supplies, CPBM ensures consistency in both supply and quality.
The company is managed by a competent team of professionals in fields like process, paper technology, engineering, finance, business management, and human resources. CPBM places great importance on human capital development and regularly sends its professionals to foreign and local training programs, exhibitions, and courses.
The plant comprises seven paper machines (PMs), a complete corrugated cartons manufacturing plant, integrated pulp mills (using wheat straw as the major input), an in-house engineering workshop, a captive power generation plant, and a chemical house. The facility is spread over 162 acres, located near Lahore, one of the country’s major business hubs.
